Antenatal Care

Routine antenatal check-ups by our midwife.
Grangetown Health Centre: Wednesday 1pm – 3pm

Child Health Surveillance and Vaccinations

We have a Health Visitor Clinic every other Thursday morning. Please contact the surgery to book in.

We run a childhood immunisation clinic. please contact the surgery to book your child’s appointment if you’ve received a letter, or for any other queries with the nurse.

Vaccinations

Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available. Please collect a travel health request form from the surgery and you will be contacted to book the appointment. We only offer this service at least 6 weeks before departure.

Health Checks

The practice nurse runs the following clinics: Diabetes, Cardiac Disease, Stroke/TIA, Hypertension, Asthma and COPD. Please make an appointment with the GP / practice nurse.

Cervical Smear

We advise all women between 20-64 years to have a smear test. Please call the surgery to check if you are due, for general enquiries or if you have received a letter from Cervical Screening Wales to make an appointment with the practice nurse.

Minor Surgery

Dr Agnihotri may carry out certain minor surgery procedures after  an initial consultation.

Private Medical Examination and Reports

These are not covered by the National Health Service.  Please contact the receptionist who will make an appointment and tell you of the fee involved.
