Consultations with the doctor are by appointments only.

Monday 8:30am – 6:00pm

Tuesday 8:30am – 6:00pm

Wednesday 8:30am – 6:00pm

Thursday 8:30am – 6:00pm

Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm

Please call in to the surgery during the time reception is open or telephone.  Tell the receptionist if you feel your appointment is urgent as urgent cases will be seen on the same day.

Note:  Please arrive promptly. If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel this as soon as possible to enable others to benefit from it.

Telephone Advice

You are welcome to speak to the doctor or nurse by telephone for advice, please ring the surgery from 8am and you will be given telephone consultation.

Home Visits

Home visits are only for those patients who cannot visit the surgery because of health reasons.

If there is a degree of urgency please make this clear to the receptionist.

For children under 16 years old with an acute illness, please contact the surgery for a same day appointment.

Emergency Appointments

These are ‘same day’ appointments for urgent medical problems that cannot wait. Please call the surgery as early as possible. These appointments will be assessed by the Duty Doctor for urgency. Depending on the nature of the problem, it may not always be possible to see you on the same day.

Please be aware that the Doctor has asked the reception team to ask the reason for your call. This is to make sure you are booked in with the most appropriate Health Professional and to ensure that we can prioritise the most unwell or vulnerable patients.

 

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
